These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of iLocal (the "Platform"), operated by iLocal, accessible at https://ilocal.online. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of the Platform
iLocal is a local marketplace that connects customers with businesses and service providers listed on the Platform. You must be at least 18 years of age, or have parental consent, to use the Platform. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, placing an order, or listing your business.
2. Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
3. Business Listings & Services
Businesses and service providers listed on iLocal are independent third parties.iLocal facilitates discovery, ordering and communication but is not a party to the underlying transaction between the customer and the business unless expressly stated. Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of listings, product/service quality, pricing, taxes, and fulfilment of orders they accept.
4. Payments
Online payments on the Platform are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. By making a payment you agree to Razorpay's terms and conditions. iLocal does not store your card, UPI, or bank account details on its own servers.
Subscription plans purchased by businesses are billed as displayed at checkout and renew only if autopay is explicitly enabled by the subscriber.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you post (photos, reviews, listings, reels). By posting, you grantiLocal a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute and promote that content on the Platform. You must not post content that is unlawful, misleading, obscene, defamatory, infringing, or that impersonates another person or business.
6. Prohibited Uses
- Uploading malicious code, spam, or automated scraping tools.
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data.
- Selling products or services that are illegal in India or restricted by Razorpay's prohibited list.
- Using the Platform to harass, threaten, or defraud any user or business.
7. Intellectual Property
The iLocal name, logo, and Platform design are the property of iLocal. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, iLocal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Platform or transactions with listed businesses.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Andhra Pradesh, India.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
